Today, I am thankful for sympathy.
I received a sympathy card today from a friend. My grandfather's death a week ago has brought a very mixed emotions week. Just when I think I am OK, I realize that I am not. But the sympathy card was just what I needed this morning.
May the God of healing ease your pain,
May the God of grace lift your grief,
May the God of love comfort your heart,
May the God of hope fill your soul with peace
and sustain you always.
For this blessing, I am grateful and indebted.
